Eagle Lake is a lake at the northern town line of Ticonderoga, in Essex County, New York, with State Route 74 running along its southern shore. The town of Ticonderoga sits in the southeastern corner of the county, between the northern end of Lake George and Lake Champlain, which the short La Chute River connects. Fort Ticonderoga, built by the French in the 1750s as Fort Carillon, stands on the east side of town along the same highway.
