Homeroom is named for the room where attendance is taken — where you are counted as from somewhere. Every design here is a real place in Upstate New York, and the lettering on the front is that place's own name.
Homeroom is a one-person shop in Rochester, New York. Stephanie draws every design, picks every colour, and answers every email — there is no customer-service department, just her.

The tee is the Comfort Colors 1717 — 6.1 oz, 100% ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed and pre-shrunk, with a relaxed unisex fit. The crewneck is the Comfort Colors 1566 — 9.5 oz fleece, 80% ring-spun cotton and 20% polyester, garment-dyed, relaxed fit, a sewn-in twill label. The cap is the Comfort Colors CCWC0 Coastal Washed Cap: enzyme-washed cotton twill, a mid-profile unstructured crown, a curved bill and an adjustable closure.
Garment-dyed means the finished shirt is dyed, not the fabric it was cut from. That is where the washed, lived-in colour comes from — and why two dye lots of the same shade never match exactly. We think that's the point.
Nothing here sits in a warehouse. When you order, the design is printed directly onto your garment — direct-to-garment printing, water-based ink pressed into the cotton, in the United States — and the caps are embroidered, block capitals in a single thread colour, centred on the front panel, also in the United States.
Printed pieces typically leave production in 2–5 business days and arrive within 4–10. Caps take longer to stitch: about 10 business days in production, 12–15 to your door. Those are the real windows and they are the same on every page of this site, at checkout, and in the email you get when it ships.
Towns and villages, neighbourhoods, streets and roads, lakes and ponds, parks and glens, and a few of the clubs and courts where people actually show up. Each one is a place with a name, and each name went through the same test: would someone who is from there be glad to see it written across their chest in arched collegiate letters? If the answer was no, it isn't here.
We don't print team names, league names, school names or anybody's face. We print places.
