Indian Lake is a 12-mile-long reservoir in Hamilton County, New York, inside the Adirondack Park, stretching southwest to northeast through the towns of Indian Lake and Lake Pleasant. It sits at an elevation of about 1,650 feet, holds ten islands, and reaches a maximum depth of 85 feet. New York State Route 30 follows the west shore, most of the shoreline belongs to the Forest Preserve, and the state runs an island campground reached mainly by boat. The lake is fed by the Jessup River and drains by way of the Indian River and Lake Abanakee to the Hudson.
