Brighton Girl
Brighton is a town in Monroe County, New York, bordered on the north and northwest by the city of Rochester, with a population of 37,137 at the 2020 census. Settled around 1790 and formally established in 1814, it is one of the oldest towns in the county and takes its name from Brighton, England. The town has had no central village since 1905, and Twelve Corners serves as its commercial hub, with the Brighton Memorial Library on the nearby town hall campus at 2300 Elmwood Avenue. Green space includes the Brickyard Trail, a former clay-mining wetland made a park in 2017, and Lynch Woods Nature Park.
