Elmwood Ave is a street in Brighton, Monroe County, New York. Elmwood Avenue is one of the three roads, with Winton Road and Monroe Avenue, whose intersection defines the Twelve Corners, the central commercial and entertainment hub of the town of Brighton in Monroe County, New York. The Brighton Memorial Library is located at 2300 Elmwood Avenue on the Brighton town hall campus. Brighton High School and Twelve Corners Middle School are located at the Twelve Corners. Brighton, on the southeastern border of the city of Rochester, was formally established as a town in 1814, is named for Brighton, England, and had a population of 37,137 at the 2020 census.
