Monroe Meadows
Monroe Meadows is a residential neighborhood name in the town of Brighton, Monroe County, New York, on the southeastern border of the city of Rochester. Brighton was formally established in 1814, one of the oldest towns in the county, and grew from a farming and brick-making community into a suburb of about 15 square miles with a population of 37,137 at the 2020 census. The town's commercial hub is Twelve Corners, where Monroe Avenue meets Winton Road and Elmwood Avenue, and the Erie Canal and its heritage trail run through the town. The Monroe Avenue corridor from Highland Avenue to Clover Street is the subject of a town community vision plan adopted in 2011.
