Struckmar
Struckmar is a residential neighborhood in the town of Brighton, Monroe County, generally bounded by South Winton Road, Ashbourne Road, Highland Avenue and Interstate 590. Its detached single-family homes date from the 1930s through the 1950s, on streets such as Ashbourne, Claybourne, Edgemoor, Monteroy, Palmerston and Wilshire roads. The Town of Brighton administers Struckmar as one of its named special improvement districts for sidewalk snow removal, refuse and street lighting. Brighton itself was formally established in 1814 and had a population of 37,137 at the 2020 census.
