Sunnymede
Sunnymede is a residential neighborhood name in the town of Brighton, Monroe County, New York, on the southeastern border of the city of Rochester; Monroe County records a Brighton street-lighting district under the spelling Sunnymeade Add, one of 26 such districts in the town. Brighton was established in 1814, one of the oldest towns in the county, and grew from farming and brick-making into a suburb of about 15 square miles with 37,137 residents at the 2020 census. Its commercial center is Twelve Corners, where Winton Road, Monroe Avenue and Elmwood Avenue meet, and the Erie Canal and its heritage trail cross the town.
