Calkins Road
Calkins Road runs through the town of Pittsford in Monroe County, New York, a suburb about seven miles southeast of Rochester. The road gives its name to Calkins Road Middle School, which opened for the 2006-2007 school year and follows the school district's convention of naming buildings for the roads they sit on. Pittsford itself was settled in 1789, incorporated in 1796, and is crossed by the Erie Canal.
