Twelve Corners is the commercial center of the town of Brighton in Monroe County, New York, just southeast of Rochester. It takes its name from the meeting of Winton Road, Monroe Avenue and Elmwood Avenue, whose three-way intersection creates twelve distinct corners. Brighton has had no central village since Rochester annexed the old village of Brighton in 1905, and both the town's high school and its middle school stand at the Twelve Corners. The town itself dates to 1814 and had a population of 37,137 at the 2020 census.
