Mendon Center
Mendon Center Road runs through the town of Pittsford in Monroe County, New York, toward the neighboring town of Mendon to the south. It is also the name of one of the five Pittsford Central School District elementary schools, each named for the road on which it is located. Pittsford is a suburb about seven miles southeast of Rochester, with a population of 30,617 at the 2020 census, and since its 1996 Greenprint Plan the town has preserved much of its remaining farmland as open space.
