
Park Road is a road in the town of Pittsford, Monroe County, and gives its name to Park Road Elementary School at 50 Park Road, one of the five elementary schools of the Pittsford Central School District, each named for the road it sits on. Pittsford is a suburb of Rochester that was settled in 1789 and incorporated in 1796; the town was named by Colonel Caleb Hopkins for his birthplace of Pittsford, Vermont, and had a population of 30,617 at the 2020 census. The Erie Canal passes through the town, which also has 11 town parks and two Monroe County parks, Powder Mills Park and Mendon Ponds Park.
