Stone Road
Stone Road is a two-lane county road, Monroe County Road 37, in the town of Pittsford, Monroe County, New York. It runs east from Pinnacle Road in neighboring Henrietta, crosses Clover Street and Mendon Center Road, and meets Mendon Road and South Main Street near its eastern end, where the historic School Number 1 building and the Pioneer Burying Ground stand. Pittsford, settled in 1789 and named for Pittsford, Vermont, was a farming community until suburban growth arrived in the 1950s, and its 1996 Greenprint Plan preserved two-thirds of the farmland that remained; the town had 30,617 residents at the 2020 census.
