Let's Go Buffalo
Buffalo sits on the eastern shore of Lake Erie at the head of the Niagara River, right on the Canadian line — the second-largest city in New York, 278,349 people at the last census. It got there by dredging: the village widened its harbour to beat Black Rock for the western end of the Erie Canal, won it in 1825, and was a city by 1832. Joseph Dart's steam grain elevator went up in 1843 and handled a thousand bushels an hour, and for the next half-century this was the largest grain port on earth.

Printed on the Comfort Colors 1566 crewneck: 9.5 oz/yd² fleece in 80% ring-spun cotton, 20% polyester, garment-dyed, with a relaxed unisex fit and a sewn-in twill label.
